Meet My Two Students From Chestnut Creek School of the Arts

These are my two students that successfully completed my course, "Herringbone weave with 1/2" flat reed" taught at the Chestnut Creek School of the Arts in downtown Galax, VA.

Busy. Busy. Busy.

There seems never to be enough time to do all that needs to be done. Ha! How many times have you heard that one? But for me, these past months, it rings very true. Chair business has been excellent. I have posted photos of some of the chairs I've been working on since spring. I taught a class at Chestnut Creek School of the Arts this week. I had two students that did a great job learning the herringbone weave using 1/2" flat reed. I've posted their photos also. I've also been spending every available spare minute to renovating the cabin at the wildlife club in Lowgap, NC. What a job that has been!! The cabin hasn't been used in over 10 years and had really become rundown and in need of much repair. I've posted some photos of it's progress on my Facebook site. Drop in and take a look. I hope everyone has had a great summer so far. Now that the Fiddler's Convention is almost over, fall will come to Galax in a few short weeks, so I better get busy.
