Well, as usual, I didn't realize how long it has been since last I posted. Sorry. I've tried to post most of what I've been doing since April 2010 to November 2010. I forgot to take pictures of a few chairs, but I did manage to get most. Billy and I finished painting the outside of the cabin arround the end of October. We started the inside last weekend. It's coming together slowly. I will try to post a few pictures in the next few weeks. Spring is coming! Hang in there.
Another chair from Bernie Edwards in Boone, NC
1/4" half-round reed, herringbone pattern

A pressed cane seat for Sam Cox, Fries, VA.

I did this special pattern for a special lady who is well loved by all in Galax, Va. - Mrs. Pauline Kleinke.

This chair belongs to Pam's mother-in-law. Pam owns and operates the Baywood Market and Deli in Baywood, Va. It's just 5 minutes from the house and serves the best food. I eat there at least three or four times a week. I mean, where else can you get a good sized grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper and a 16oz. Coke Zero for $3.62?

Myrna retired from her city manager's secretarial position this year. Miss you a bunch Myrna!
After removing the upholstered seat, I discovered I could create this beautiful seat for her.

A set of rockers for Helen Gross from North Carolina
1/2" flat reed, herringbone pattern rocker seats and backs.

They turned out really nice, but OMG they were sooooooo heavy!! Try turning them upside down and rightside up for a few hours. What a workout! LOL
