Today, August 22, 2009, I worked on Gordon Leonard's chair, the second of a set of three. I thought it would be cool to make a video of how it is done. Hope you enjoy!
These chairs that Mike reworked are over 100 years old. My dad and mom owmed them and the bottoms had been replaced with plastic strapping until Mike did the original seats again. I am very pleased and he also did my Grandpa and Granny Leonards old rocker for me that I can remember them rocking me in during my childhood ( he saved a part of the old bottom for me to frame)and it looks great !!
